2007 Porche Club Racing Weekend Photos


The annual National Dragster Challenge race came to the Cajun land of No Problem Raceway Park in Belle Rose, LA on July 28, 2007 . We had over 130 racers come run for the "Wally". We also had our Jr. Dragster programs.

    In our Jrs. younger age group, it was Justin Jackson running for the Bracket Masters Racing Team out of
Baton Rouge , taking on Trene Cressonie, out of Raceland , LA in the finals. Trene went -.007 red on Justin, allowing him to pick up the win.

    In our Jrs. older age group, it was Josh Gordon from
Houma , LA taking on Evan Nugent from Gonzales , LA. Nugent, sponsored by Powertrain Specialties, had an .077 light to Gordon's .033. Nugent was eleven numbers over the dial and finished in the runner up spot to Gordon who was nine over the dial.

    In Quick 16, we had Andre Landry from Pierre Part, LA taking on Mark Jones from
Marrero , LA. Mark left first going -.003 red, giving it away to Andre Landry.

    In the Super Pro class, we had Eli McGee out of
Gray , LA , taking on Jason LeBlanc from St. Amant , LA. LeBlanc had the better reaction time .008 to .013, but Eli drove around him on the top end, going two off the dial, while LeBlanc was six over.

    In Non - Electronics, we had
Warren "Pedo" Blanchard, from Pierre Part, LA taking on James Marceaux from Lafayette , LA. Blanchard had the better light .084 to Marceaux's .141, but Marceaux drove around Blanchard on the top end, when Blanchard's tachometer broke and he couldn't run the number. Marceaux went nine over the dial picking up the win.

    In the Street class, we had Ron "Porky" Boudreaux from
Thibodaux , LA taking on defending track champion Frank Beniot from Houma , LA. Boudreaux had a .026 to Beniot's .071, and then went two over the dial to pick up the win, while Beniot was five over the dial.

    In the Motorcycle class, we had Patrick Chabaud out of
Gonzales , LA taking on James Enloe from Prairieville , LA. They had identical .018 reaction times, but it was Chabaud picking up the win. Chabaud was five off the dial, and Enloe was eleven off.
